Data about payments to physicians open for review period

Physicians and teaching hospitals have until May 15, 2016, to review and dispute information that has been reported about payments they have received from applicable manufacturers of drugs, devices, biologics, or medical supplies and group purchasing organizations before the data become publicly available on June 30, 2016.


The CMS Open Payments system is now open for review and dispute.

Physicians and teaching hospitals have until May 15, 2016, to review and dispute information that has been reported about payments they have received from applicable manufacturers of drugs, devices, biologics, or medical supplies and group purchasing organizations before the data become publicly available on June 30, 2016. To review or correct data, physicians need to register in both the CMS Enterprise Identity Management System (EIDM) and the Open Payments System. Instructions can be found on the CMS website.
