Submissions wanted for ACP Innovation Challenge 2018: Re-Imagining the Practice of Internal Medicine

The grand prize winner of ACP's “Shark Tank”-style competition will be awarded $20,000 to support implementation/study of an idea on how to transform the practice of internal medicine on a national level.

ACP is accepting applications for the third “Shark Tank”-styled competition that will be featured at the 2018 Internal Medicine Meeting in New Orleans on Thursday, April 19, 2018.

The event will showcase the best and brightest ideas from practicing physicians, fellows, residents, and medical students that have the potential to transform the practice of internal medicine on a national level. Selected finalists will present their projects to a panel of judges in front of a live audience at the meeting.

A grand prize winner will be selected by the judges and awarded $20,000 to support implementation/study of the idea. In addition, an audience choice prize of $5,000 will also be awarded to a finalist selected during the session from those watching the competition. All finalists will receive complimentary scientific program registration to ACP Internal Medicine Meeting 2018.

This is a great opportunity for physicians to reimagine the practice of internal medicine, connect with peers, and build their CVs.

Deadline for application submission is Dec. 31. All applicants will be notified of the results by Jan. 30. More information and application materials are online.
