ACP's Genesis Registry helps practices meet meaningful use requirement

Genesis supports all 64 electronic clinical quality measures that are used in meaningful use, the Physician Quality Reporting System, and other value-based payment programs.

Physicians still have time to meet the 2016 meaningful use (MU) public health reporting requirement by enrolling in the ACP Genesis Registry, a specialized clinical data registry for quality improvement.

Genesis supports all 64 electronic clinical quality measures that are used in MU, the Physician Quality Reporting System, and other value-based payment programs. The registry supports automated data connectivity through partnerships with electronic health record (EHR) vendors, including Allscripts, NextGen, AthenaHealth, Aprima, Greenway, and others. If your EHR is not one of the listed partners, you can still be enrolled in the ACP Genesis Registry.

In order to meet the MU requirement, data must be submitted through certified EHR technology, tested, and entered in the production environment before the end of 2016. To enroll and submit data to the ACP Genesis Registry, complete the “Pre-Register” form at the top of the webpage.
