Tips and resources to help practices navigate ICD-10 changes
ACP and others offer information on addressing problems and ensuring claims are successful.
The ICD-10 coding system took effect on Oct. 1, and practices now should be submitting claims using the new codes. In addition to a long list of training and implementation resources, ACP has created tips to help your practice with the transition.

If you find your practice is having problems with claims processing, you can find information on the AMA's ICD-10 complaints page about whom to contact. The page includes a link to the form for reporting problems to Medicare and information specifically about other payers and vendors.
