Open Payments review and dispute period ends May 20

Physicians and teaching hospitals have until May 20, 2015, to voluntarily review data reported by drug and medical device makers about them and dispute payment reports, if necessary.

The data will be made public on June 30, 2015. To review data, physicians and teaching hospitals must register in both the CMS Enterprise Portal and the Open Payments system. Physicians and teaching hospitals who registered last year do not need to register again. This is the second reporting cycle for Open Payments and covers payments made in 2014.
