Payments to physicians open for review period

The Open Payments system is scheduled to open for review and dispute on April 6.

Physicians and teaching hospitals will have 45 days to review and dispute information that has been reported about payments they have received from applicable manufacturers of drugs, devices, biologics or medical supplies, and group purchasing organizations (GPOs) before the data become public.

To review or correct your data, you will need to register in both the CMS Enterprise Identity Management System (EIDM) and the Open Payments System. Instructions can be found on the CMS website.
