Prophylactic injectable monoclonal antibody reduced migraine days, industry trial finds
Compared with nonspecific oral drugs, patients treated with erenumab were six times more likely to achieve 50% or more reduction in monthly migraine days and were 11 times more likely to complete the treatment on the first attempt, authors reported.

USPSTF pulls back on recommendation of low-dose aspirin for primary prevention
In a draft recommendation statement, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) now recommends against initiating low-dose aspirin for the primary prevention of cardiovascular disease in adults ages 60 years or older and says use should be an individual decision in patients ages 40 to 59 years.
