Candidates announced for Board of Governors Chair-elect Designee
Douglas M. DeLong, MD, FACP, and J. Matthew Neal, MD, MBA, FACP, are seeking election as Chair-elect Designee of the Board of Governors. The Governors will be casting ballots online shortly, with the winner to be announced in mid-October 2014. The winner will begin his term as Chair-elect at the conclusion of Internal Medicine 2015 and take office as Chair in May 2016.

The American College of Cardiology, in partnership with the American Diabetes Association, the American College of Physicians, and Joslin Diabetes Center, has launched the Diabetes Collaborative Registry, the first clinical registry aimed at tracking and improving the quality of diabetes and cardiometabolic care across the primary and specialty care continuum.
