Joseph E. Johnson III, MACP, died April 19 at the age of 79.

Joseph E. Johnson III, College leader, dies

Dr. Johnson became a Master of the College in 2003 and served as Governor for the North Carolina chapter of ACP, Chair of the Board of Governors, Regent and Treasurer. He served on a number of College committees and was Senior Vice President of the Membership Division and interim Executive Vice President.

Dr. Johnson had a long and distinguished career as an academician, clinician, administrator, leader and mentor.

Contributions in his memory can be made to the ACP Joseph E. Johnson Fund, 190 North Independence Mall West, Philadelphia, PA 19106-1572.
