Missed the meeting? Try Virtual Annual Session

If you missed a course at this year's Annual Session, don't worry. With the click of a mouse, you can go to Virtual Annual Session and catch up on all kinds of sessions from the meeting.

Virtual Annual Session is a collection of reports from the meeting that appears on the College's Web site (www.acponline.org/ vas2000). The reports summarize Annual Session courses for internists who couldn't attend the meeting or who attended but missed a particular session. This year's Virtual Annual Session summarizes 58 workshops, lectures, updates and panel discussions, as well as several reports related to the College's clinical theme of emerging antibiotic resistance.

In addition, Virtual Annual Session now features a bank of multiple choice questions related to the College's clinical theme. This year's reports also feature references and links to PubMed, the National Library of Medicine's search engine that gives users access to Medline and other related databases.

Virtual Annual Session reports are written on-site at the meeting by internists who attend sessions, review handouts and references, and interview the sessions' speakers.
