Chapters honor 18 internists with Laureate Awards
ACP-ASIM chapters gave 18 internists Laureate Awards this winter. The awards honor College Fellows and Masters who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in medical care, education and research and who have provided service to their communities and the College.
Awardees generally have been Fellows for 15 to 20 years and have a long history of excellence and peer approval in internal medicine.

Bioterrorism resources on the Web
A new section of the College's Web site offers information on medicine's role in coping with bioterrorism.
The Bioterrorism Resource Center (www.acponline.org/bioterro/index.html) contains excerpts from journal articles about the clinical aspects of bioterrorism, as well as links to Web sites with related information. The site also contains a bibliography and a speaker's bureau.
