Annual Session keynote to focus on MD leadership
At the Annual Session Opening Ceremony on Thursday, April 22, Donald M. Berwick, MD, will present his keynote speech, "From Victim to Leader: Physicians as Agents of Change."
Dr. Berwick, president of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement in Boston, said he plans to speak about the need for physicians to exercise national clinical leadership, particularly in areas like end-of-life care.
