Questions about your student loans? Just ask.

From the March 1998 ACP Observer, copyright 1998 by the American College of Physicians.

If you have questions about how to manage your student loans and other debt, you now have another place to turn for answers. The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) has launched a new listserve, a type of electronic mailing list, on the Internet. Answers will be provided by AAMC staff, financial aid professionals, medical schools and teaching hospitals.

Residents, staff working with residents and medical school financial aid professionals are eligible to subscribe to the service, called "Moneymatters."

To subscribe, send e-mail to majordomo@aamcinfo.org. In the subject field, provide information identifying your residency program or GME affiliation. In the text section, type only the following: "subscribe moneymatters <your e-mail address>".
