The College is enrolling and re-enrolling individuals in its "Key Contact" program to advocate ACP's positions to the 105th Congress.

To become part of the program, fill out the blue postage-paid card bound in this issue of ACP Observer (see page 8) and send it to the College. You will receive regular updates on Washington developments and be asked to contact your member of Congress occasionally with the College's view on a particular issue. You will also receive information on the legislation and guidance on how to present the ACP's position.

You don't have to know your individual legislators, just be willing to contact them on an as-needed basis. Over time, you may develop a relationship and become an important part of the College's advocacy efforts on behalf of internal medicine and patients.

For more information about the Key Contact program, call ACP's Washington office at 800-633-9400.
